WhatsBiz is a WhatsApp business automation platform operated by Degordons Tech Enterprises. We help business owners automate customer conversations, order management and payment collection via WhatsApp. References to "we", "us" or "our" refer to Degordons Tech Enterprises trading as WhatsBiz.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following data when you use WhatsBiz: Account information including your name, email address and business name when you sign up. Business data including your product listings, prices and AI configuration settings. WhatsApp conversation data including messages sent and received between your customers and your WhatsApp number via our platform. Order data including items ordered, quantities, delivery addresses and payment status. Customer data including the phone numbers and names of people who message your WhatsApp number.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the WhatsBiz service, to power the AI conversation system on your behalf, to display your messages, orders and customer information in your dashboard, to send payment links on your behalf when you confirm orders, and to communicate with you about your account and our service.
4. WhatsApp and Meta
WhatsBiz uses the WhatsApp Cloud API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. By using WhatsBiz, you agree to comply with Meta's Terms of Service and WhatsApp Business Policy. Customer messages processed through our platform pass through Meta's servers. We do not control how Meta handles this data. You are responsible for ensuring your use of WhatsApp through our platform complies with all applicable laws and Meta's policies.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your customer data for advertising purposes. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data: The right to access your data at any time through your dashboard. The right to correct inaccurate data. The right to request deletion of your data. The right to data portability. The right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, you can use the Account and Data section in your Settings page or contact us directly at privacy@whatsbiz.com.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days. Some data may be retained for longer periods where required by law.
8. Cookies
WhatsBiz uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in to your account and to improve the performance of our platform. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
WhatsBiz is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in your dashboard. Your continued use of WhatsBiz after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
